figure studies

A study in watercolour and ink for a commissioned painting, which led the buyer to be more specific about what she wanted (face, dramatic eyes, etc), which in turn led me to understand (ding) and go directly in another direction to a second image and a painting that I finished last night (will photograph on Sunday and post on Monday). Very happy with it. And now this drawing above can go off and live its own life.
